There's really nothing better than hanging out with friends and family enjoying music and good times in our beautiful Peninsula weather. Here's an extensive list of free concert events to enjoy with the whole family or even a date night! 

Thursday

Sounds of Summer – Los Altos

Enjoy upbeat live music on Thursday evenings in Los Altos, perfect for families looking to unwind midweek. Held at two local parks, these shows are casual, picnic-style gatherings where kids can dance, play, and roam freely.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets and your favorite snacks (or grab dinner downtown). Easy parking and friendly vibes make this a local favorite.

Portola Valley Summer Music Series

Set on the grassy lawn at Portola Valley Town Center, this low-key music series includes food trucks, farmers market goodies, and space for kids to play. A great way to ease into the weekend early!

Fridays

Concerts at the Park – Atherton

Family-friendly and laid-back, these Friday evening concerts are set on the lawns of Holbrook-Palmer Park. Kids can run around while parents enjoy live music and local community spirit.

Saturdays

Sounds of Summer – Los Altos (Special Event)

Kick off summer with a special Saturday night performance from Peninsula Symphony. A beautiful setting for a family night under the stars with classical music.

Pub in the Park – Redwood City

Enjoy live music on select Saturdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Red Morton Park. Great for families—bring lawn chairs, blankets, and enjoy lawn games, food trucks, and cold drinks.

Each event features beer/cider from local microbreweries and food trucks. Perfect for a family day out with music!

Summer Concert Series – Palo Alto (Rinconada Park)

Summer Concert Series – Palo Alto (Mitchell Park)
